1. Carefully remove ultrasonic cover from its sterile packaging. Unfold the cover so that the white rectangular section is facing up (A). Use caution when unfolding the cover to maintain sterility.

2. Identify the yellow tab. Starting at this end of the cover, the sterile person should reach into the cover FOLLOWING THE PATH OF THE LONG THIN WHITE TAB (B). Keep this hand in position.

3. Using the free hand, the STERILE PERSON should remove the white rectangle to expose the adhesive area. (C)

4. The transducer is now placed onto the adhesive area by the NON-STERILE person. To prevent wrinkling of the cover, the STERILE PERSON should rub/flatten (D) the adhesive area against the transducer (with hand that is inserted inside the cover).

5. With the STERILE PERSON firmly holding the transducer, the NON-STERILE PERSON grabs the white tab and pulls cover over head and cable. (E)

6. The STERILE PERSON should now remove their hand from the inside cover whilst taking the thin white strip with them.
7. Remove adhesive from thin white strip and use to wrap around probe cover. (F)
